The Technical Project Manager will lead creative and technical teams to design and develop educational websites and interactive learning experiences within client budgets and timelines. Critical to this position is the ability analyze and break-down client requests into manageable work items as well as communicate as high or low on the technical scale as the audience requires – clearly describing technical aspects in a non-technical way. 


Successful Technical Project Managers have the ability to establish and maintain prosperous relationships with clients and d’Vinci team members.


This position can be based out of our Hagerstown, MD or Harrisburg, PA offices.



  • Confidently and successfully lead projects from initiation through testing and implementation.
  • Tracks details, stays organized and documents communications
  • Gathers necessary information to document requirements, implementation details, and time estimates
  • Works closely with clients to understand their needs, priorities and goals while advising practical solutions
  • Understands web technologies and the standard software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Uses an issue tracking system to organize, log, and assign project work (JIRA)
  • Fostering collaboration and leading groups with smart technical solutions
  • Providing a "Shared Vision"


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years’ experience leading web development projects and working with content management systems
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Inquisitive, analytical, and thorough
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple projects
  • Is able to breakdown, simplify and extract key conceptual components of a project into written descriptions, outlines, annotated screen captures, mockups, wireframes, tables, flowcharts, graphs, illustrations, etc.
  • Able to clearly communicate issues that affect project scope, budget and timelinessAble to communicate difficult concepts with technical and non-technical staff members and clients
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 daysa week at either our Hagerstown, MD or Harrisburg, PA office
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and foster teamwork 

Additional beneficial experience:

  • HTML, JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or SQL development experience
  • Past participation with Strategic, Integrated and Business Development groups
  • Experience executing various types of documentation, project management methodologies, and software development processes
  • Professional work experience on Scrum teams
  • Educational Websites
