The Manager, Integrated Account Services is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who is essential to JPL’s success in retaining clients and deepening client relationships. The successful candidate is responsible for developing and leading a talented, results-oriented team of account management professionals. This position requires skills in client service, staff management, as well as in account and project management. 


The manager has a solid understanding of best-practice project management techniques and is responsible for leading multiple, simultaneous, fast-paced projects. Critical to this position is the ability to analyze project requirements, organize and prioritize tasks, identify risks early, and manage aggressively against timeline and budget requirements. The individual must be comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams and guiding their efforts through the entire project lifecycle.


  • Work closely with the director, account management to manage staff workloads for account coordinators, set project and work priorities, develop project-scope documents, as well as oversee and modify schedules for account coordinators, as needed.
  • Work closely with the scheduling and resourcing manager to ensure work is assigned in a timely fashion, and partner with the scheduling and resourcing manager on shared responsibilities relating to process, forecasting and workflow.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, his/her team of integrated account services professionals, department leaders and JPL integrated communications team members.
  • Assertive, highly motivated and enjoys leading, mentoring and managing a client-focused account team.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a diverse project load, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Able to shift from tactical execution to a big-picture, strategic mindset.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of agency workflow processes, from strategy through final production.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope projects and timelines accurately, and oversee complex projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Manage and oversee the timely flow of multiple projects from conception through completion.


  • Degree in marketing, communications or related field of study.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in project or traffic management within a marketing firm with excellent organization and communications skills, with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • A proven track record in account management, preferably in an advertising agency with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Management or mentoring experience with a team of at least three members or more.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and proofreading skills.
  • Solid understanding of strategic marketing and planning.
  • Proactive self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to work as a team player and a strong team leader.
