The Agency Marketing Manager will be responsible for the successful activation of the agency’s marketing and public relations strategy. As a key member of JPL’s Client Solutions team, the candidate will collaborate with JPL leadership to support JPL’s trajectory toward continued growth.


  • Plan and implement strategic content marketing programs, digital marketing campaigns and PR outreach to build brand awareness, generate and nurture leads to achieve JPL’s growth objectives.
  • Manage and optimize JPL’s digital outreach, including web, social and paid efforts.
  • Develop program calendar, manage agency marketing projects using internal team members and monitor budget.
  • Measure performance to optimize results and perform competitive research to continuously elevate our marketing and PR efforts.
  • Leverage JPL’s marketing automation and CRM platform for lead nurturing.
  • Develop thought leadership content in collaboration with internal team members.
  • Write web and marketing copy in support of business development efforts.


  • A degree in marketing, business, communications or related area of study.
  • A minimum of five years of experience and successful track record building brands through digital and content marketing and/or PR initiatives that drive growth.
  • A working knowledge of agency/marketing firm business operations, policies and processes.
  • A solid understanding of business and marketing fundamentals with an up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing including Google Analytics, social media, content marketing and lead nurturing techniques.
  • Highly collaborative with proven ability to inspire creative teams with clear, insightful, actionable strategies and supporting rationale, and the ability to translate strategy into focused creative briefs.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation software.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and digital technologies.
  • Excellent business and marketing writing skills; experience writing creative briefs, strategy documents, web content, case studies and presentation talking points.
  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to analyze and solve problems and work autonomously.
  • Strong negotiating and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to be diplomatic, assertive, articulate, persuasive, flexible, confident, competitive and creative; an enthusiastic team player who demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail in producing quality work.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance.
